I have used the patio sealant on my 25 year old patio after a complete clean with the patio extreme cleaner. I am so pleased with the result it looks amazing. It has given my old tired looking patio a new lease of life and I am very pleased with the results. I know how easy the patio will be to keep up to from now on because I used the drive sealant some years ago on my driveway and it has been perfect since. I found the sealant very easy to use and quick to apply using a sprayer and a brush for any pooling as my patio has riven flags and obviously I needed to take more care. Thank you smartseal E. Very easy to apply, a bit stinky though so wear a decent mask and suitable protective clothing, especially Wellys that you don't mind messing up. I used a roller on a broom handle to apply. Definitely needed two coats as the first sank right in, and the second coat deepened the pavers colour and left a nice sheen. If you have used setting grout on paving slabs (like I did) rain water will sit on top in small puddles rather than drain away, so be aware of that. I will be putting a 3rd coat on to even out slight colour variations after Karchering some very dirty pavers, but very happy with the results so far. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I don't know what the long term performance will be, obviously. I am optimistic though.

The product and roller set arrived last week. I have waited until now to do the job as the weather was not very settled. Two coats of the sealer have been applied to the patio. I am very happy with the finish and the way it was applied. I have enough left to give a refresher coat next year. I found the instructional videos on U Tube very helpful before starting the work. Great product, the patio sealer is easy to apply with the roller. High odour so let your neighbours know. My only issue is I have about 7 litres left and am finding it really hard to dispose of. My council referred me to commercial waste, who do not take liquids.

Used paint tray and rollers to apply the patio sealer. Easy application, and looks really good. Hopefully it will last a while as not cheap and I wouldnt want to be doing this too often Powerful fumes, so you may need a mask depending on your tolerance

Just finished applying the 2nd coat of sealer on patio, looking good . Has given the patio a wet look appearance and hopefully keep it protected for a few years before it needs any further application.

Used a sealer for the first time. Quite impressed with the sheen finish bringing back the original colours of the patio. Quick and Easy to use with a sprayer as had a very large area to cover. Highly recommended.

Took 2 coats and still patchy. Made light pink grouting cement between paving stones look like a mouldy grey. Regret using it tbh.

Cleaned and sealed a flagstoned patio originally laid 15 years ago, it brought the colour back to life. I used a roller to apply two coats of the sealant, which was easy to apply. Good product and worth the cost.

Quick delivery, no problem with the sealer, will use the company again.

I took my time deciding which product to use on my newly laid slabs. I did try a sample of the sealer and was impressed with the finish, so ordered 2 x 5litre cans. Just completed 3 coats as the patio is new and the finish is just what I wanted. A nice satin, finish that brings out the aggregate shine and the colour is as though the slabs are wet. Spot on !

I am so thrilled with this sealer. Used quite an expensive one last year and hasn't lasted at all. After doing a bit of looking about on the internet, I came across this. My 11 year old patio looks amazing! I used a sprayer to apply which was so quick and easy and much better than a roller which I'd previously used.

Fantastic patio sealer,really top notch product,I sealed about 42 sq.metres of concrete slabs,(with a sand and cement mortar)managed three coats in the same day,with just enough left for another coat. Really brought out the colour of my light grey slabs to a nice dark shade of grey. Added the anti slip product too,another quality product. Only time will tell how long it lasts,but I am confident Ill get three to four years before applying another coat,which smart seal recommend,and I am happy to do this. Great service too,phoned me back after a left a message seeking some advice. Really thrilled with the way it turned out. Will definitely use again

I have just purchased this product again after more than 5 years since I first used it. After jet washing all the filth from my patio and drive, I applied the first coat and already you could see an improvement in appearance, then after the second coat it is really brilliant. A really shiny finish with the colour coming through again. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent speedy delivery. Product applied to new patio easily by brush (2 coats) and creates a glossy waterproof coating on the concrete paving slabs. It also enhances the colour of the slabs.

I have only used the 'Sample Pot' of sealer on a small area on my patio, which was jet washed beforehand. Considering the patio was laid something like 20 years ago, and the surface was pretty filthy before jet washing, I'm impressed with the result. After 2 coats the original colour can now be seen with a very nice wet look finish. For that reason I will now be ordering a 25 litre can to do the whole patio and surrounding area.

I was about to give up on my tired old patio and then I came across Smartseal. This stuff is amazing, after using the sealer with a colour it has brought the patio back to life. Very happy.

This is a great product already used the sealer and it left everything so easy to tidy up. I found that using a sprayer to apply this was much better than a roller.

Just started the 2nd 25l drum, you need to take your time and evenly coat the paving slabs, 2nd coat so much easier, I coated the patio early on Thursday morning and 2nd coat late evening, plenty of weather watching for the 2nd coat. Bird muck wiped away with no staining in between coats. I look forward to trying more products.

It�s been 5 days since I applied the patio sealer and it is looking good. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will last. So far so good. I will purchase it again

Great product, great service

Used this patio sealer on 2 jobs last week for my driveway and patio cleaning business, www.everbrightcleaning.co.uk . The results were amazing, very easy to use, pour sealer into a Sealer/Coating Scuttle, then use either a paint roller that can absorb sealer and apply by hand or on a long pole, or use a paint brush. 1st coat was dry in about 15 mins, it was very hot day, and second coat took about 20 mins . Much longer time periods must be allowed in less hot conditions for sealer to dry, do not use in damp wet conditions or with threat of rain in next 24 hours forecast. Always wear gloves and eye protection as well as breathing mask as fumes can make you feel sick if breathed in directly with no fresh air circulation. Summing up, very easy to use, great product at a reasonable price, with spectacular results.

Fantastic products. Resealed my fathers imprinted concrete driveway. After a thorough clean and 2 coats of the sealer (including anti skid) its regenerated the drive. Looks better than when it was laid and the previous occasion my father paid a "professional" to coat it, which lasted around 9 months and looked patchy. Highly recommended.

i have used this sealer before it is a great product goes down well and drys quickly after two coats it has really enhanced the colour of my new two tone brown slabs

After receiving advice from Nigel at smart seal my imprinted concrete drive been revived as good as new. It was laid 5years ago and had no further treatment till now. It looks brilliant and the finish was perfect thanks to Nigel's advice of adding the anti slip agent to the sealant. If in doubt talk to Nigel.

Product deserves 5 stars, delivery deserves 1 star. I waited in all day after paying for overnight carrier service. I was advised the delivery driver attended site but never left a card for missed delivery. I asked for the product to be left in the garage if there was no answer.I was later told it was not possible to leave the sealant in the garage due to the nature of the product. When the product was redelivered (3 days later) it came in the morning instead of the arranged time slot in the afternoon. as I wasn't in the sealant was left in the garage!

very good product, after a good clean of the patio the product went on very well and leaves a very good surface shine and good value for money compared to similar products from the sheds.

Although I have use other Smartseal products this was my first time using the Patio Sealer. Using the recommended roller it went on easy and has given a great finish. You do need to make sure the patio is cleaned well beforehand as every stain and mark will remain. A great product. Thank you Smartseal.

Easy to apply, makes the patio look good as new. We've used it before and know that it will help protect against the worst of the weather during the winter, making the pressure washing next Spring much faster. Great service - fast delivery!

I have now applied the colour tint I collected on Friday and we are very pleased with the result. It took two coats to get the colour as we wanted but I still have some colour tint left so I don't think I have applied too much. . I also have plenty of Sealer left if I need it in the future. . The patio sealer is brilliant, sealed incredibly well, ( we have to get used to droplets of water over the patio after rain though). Also it highlighted and brought out the colours in the stone wonderfully. Only comment we have is that if you put the sealer on the patio slabs that are used for steps (we have) then it could be a slip problem when those droplets freeze in the winter. (thats our fault not the sealer.) Product is brilliant, does what it says on the tin.

I purchased one tin of patio sealer to try on the front patio. The results were so good that I had to purchase a further two tins to treat the main patio at the rear of the property. As I had some sealer left over - I then treated my mother-in-law's patio. I lost a weekend - but gained a few "brownie points"!
