As I was the buyer not the labourer Im not able to give a helpful review other than to say my builder used the white colour mixed with a light cement and Im happy with the results, hopefully the colour will remain and not darken.

Good morning Smart Seal The colour pigment that I ordered was excellent.I mixed it with Repair Sealer. Very good result. The Imprint Concrete Repair sealer did not completely remove the white spots am ordering silk imprint sealer for black drive way hope it will improve spots.

Product FAQs

Q: Hi I'm hoping to use the render dye product on a wall that is approx 10 metres long and 2 metres high. How much dye would I need? I was thinking mahogany and for it to be as dark/strong a colour as the image of mahogany above. I'm also living in Belfast and wanted to check you deliver to Northern Ireland

Anthony Pender

A: There is no set amount of the Powdered Colour Pigment you would need as it is very much trial and error to determine how much colour yiu want to add. The pigments are generally very strong so a 500g or 1kg is generally enough for most situations like you have described. We do deliver to Northern Ireland as well.

Q: How and when do I mix the powder to my cement mix

John

A: You can mix the Powdered Colour Pigment in with the cement when it is a dry or wet mix. It is importnat to add the pigment gradually to make sure you attain the level of pigmentation you want to achieve.
