Rust Remover (1L)
For Concrete & Natural Stone Substrates. Safe Acid Free Formula . Will quickly neutralise & remove rust stains from all types of natural stone & concrete surfaces.

Smartseal Rust Remover is effective for dissolving problematic rust stains caused by iron-containing fertilizers, metal garden furniture, leaking heating systems, etc on natural stone and concrete surfaces. It can be used externally on patios, driveways and walls as well as internal surfaces if necessary. The fast-acting formulation will start to work straight away after application as it starts to attack and neutralise any rust stains present. Within minutes the powerful chemical formula creates a purple coloured reaction where the rust stains were so you can see the rust remover working. The acid-free formulation is PH neutral and will not damage the natural stone or concrete after application.

Q: Can I dilute with water to use it with a SoftWash system?
A: No the rust remover has to be used neat. Hope that helps. Regards, Josh
Q: I applied sodium hypochlorite to a natural slate roof and have been told it's has oxidation. Will this product remove the brown rust looking stain
A: The rust remover works on most types of oxidation stains but we could not say 100% for sure if it will meet expectations in all instances. Sometimes a few applications are necesary on some bad rust stains to reach the desired result.
Q: We have some heating system rust stains on some light coloured coarse grained sandstone internal quoins. Will your rust remover get rid of these without discolouring the stonework? Thanks Roger L.
A: The rust remover is used extensively to remove rust stains from natural stone and concrete substrates. After using initially it will leave a purple haze which normally goes once a second application is carried out. We could not guarantee that there may be some mild discoloration after use as every substrate varies in composition and some may have elements that could rect with the rust remover.

Just as expected for Smartseal the rust remover worked extremely well. All of the Smartseal products I've tried are far better than any other products you buy from the big well known DIY stores.
