Q: I have a few depressions/very shallow potholes in my tarmac drive - the deepest is 2cm in depth, but most are around 0.5cm-1cm deep. Is this product suitable and will it bond to the existing tarmac? And what ratio of crack repair compound should be mixed with the tarmac restorer for these areas?
A: The Crack Repair Compound should not be use on shallow depressions in the tarmac as it will only break up if spread to a depth of 0.5cm-1cm over a shallow dip in the surface of the tarmac. You would be better cutting out an area of the tarmac and make a depper repair using the cold lay repair for tarmac and asphalt.
Q: Hi, I have an imprint concrete drive that have lots of cracks appearing, they were hairline before, now they are widening. Please can you guide on which one of your products would help me fix the cracks on the drive and restore it. Please let me know how I can share some pics and video. Kindest Regards Vijay Chouhan
A: If the cracks are very fine hairline cracks it is very difficult to fill them with anything that works as a repair. You would be best just sealing over the cracks to prevent them geting worse. If the cracks are visibly wider then you could use the Crack Repair Compound to carry out some remedial repairs prior to sealing.
Q: How much colour do I put in to 20 litres of sealer
A: The amount of colour tint you add to imprinted concrete sealer will vary considerably depending on the age and condition of the imprinted concrete driveay or patio you are sealing. Theres ample enough in the tub to do lots of crack repairs if necessary. Its probably geared up for concrete repairs but I only needed it for cracks. Make sure you order the correct colour.
Does what it says on the tin. The concrete repair compound looks great easy to apply.
I used this product to brush into repair small cracks in my driveway. It is important to carefully follow the instructions but the results are excellent and the cracks are now barely noticeable.
