DriveClean Xtreme is a fast acting, high performance cleaning product. DriveClean Xtreme offers the easy way to keep block paving or any other hard surface driveway clean without intense pressure washing.
- Simply dilute 1:1 and apply to a wet surface by watering can or sprayer,
- Ensure that surface remains wet for 60 minute period, then rinse away with clean water.
- For areas of heavy contamination or soiling, leave product on surface for longer or re-apply.
DriveClean Xtreme contains 4 powerful, active ingredients that will clean and inhibit further growth and spread of
- Black Spot
- Algae and Lichens
- Moss
- Surface Grime
5 litres of product will clean and treat approximately 40 mē of block paving; 25 litres will cover 200 mē; wear appropriate safety wear at all times. See technical page for more information.
If you want a powerful block paving cleaner, DriveClean Xtreme works quickly and effectively. The driveway cleaner for block paving will remove stubborn black spot that can be hard to shift.
Application:
- Sweep away loose debris & areas with a heavy build-up of dirt & grime.
- Wet surface area with water.
- Dilute DriveClean Xtreme at a ratio of 1:1. If removing black spot, don't dilute (use neat).
- Apply product to surface using a watering can or sprayer.
- Make sure that surface area doesn't dry out before rinsing off.
- Leave on surface area for upto 60 minutes.
- Rinse area with water.
It is important the Driveway remains wet throughout during 60 minute period, as the product becomes inactive once dry. Most ingrained organic matter and grime will be removed after one application, but sometimes a second application may be required to remove all black and white spot algae.

DriveClean Xtreme contains chlorine as an active ingredient and will stain fabrics and sensitive materials. Take care to avoid contact with fabrics during application. Toxic to aquatic life, wear protective gloves and goggles at all times. DriveClean Xtreme can cause skin burns, avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children
Q: Hi does this damage grass lawns after spraying and power washing?
A: We would always advise wastering surrounding areas before and after using the drive cleaner , this will avoid any harm to vegetation.
Q: Hi What is the best cleaner/product to use as a pre clean/detergent on a very large blocked paving drive and patio Its going to be cleaned afterwards with a powerful pressure washer and probably resanded Many thanks
A: If you are looking to remove light deposits of dirt, grime, brake dust etc from the drive we would suggest using the Driveway Cleaner. If you want to clean more stubborn dirt, grime plus lichen and alagae the drive clean xtreme or patio clean xtreme would be better to use as pre-clean treatment to assist with the pressure washing. The results will be better than just using the pressure washer on its own.
Q: Hi Guys, I am just about to purchase the Xtreme Driveway Cleaner for my block paving and wanted to ask whether I could also use this product to clean my grubby sandstone coping stones. If not could you recommend the appropriate product for this please? Many Thanks.
A: Yes, this cleaner will work very well on sandstone coping stones.
Used on impressed concrete circle in back garden. Looking at it I thought I would never get it clean. No problem for this product.
Have bought Smartseal products for patio but this driveway product was not as effective as their patio cleaning product. It did not remove all the muck from driveway block paving that it was used on Easy to follow instruction and use but not as effective as other Smartseal products
My front driveway block paving was riddled with black spot and stain. This product which I have used before cleared the paving with ease. I can now use Smartseal block paving sealer to bring my drive up like new.
