Smartseal sealer for concrete has been developed to give concrete long term protection. Our concrete sealer is suitable external concrete floors and other concrete based surfaces. For most types of surface two coats of concrete sealant are recommended for optimum results.

Application
Brush or power wash concrete to remove any dirt or debris, only apply when surface is totally dry. Smartseal Concrete Sealer is best applied with a sprayer unit or roller, keeping sprayer head moving to avoid pooling. The first application must be applied to the surface and allowed to dry past tacky prior to applying the second coat. Avoid application in strong, direct sunlight - do not apply if rain is likely within 3 hours of application.
Deicing salts should not be applied directly onto any concrete sealer. Salt chemically reduces the temperature at which water freezes and will result in water ingress into the concrete. Subsequent freezing may result in the concrete ‘seal’ being broken by the expansion of water as it freezes and white ‘pitted’ areas may become visible.
Technical & Test Data
Smartseal Imprinted Sealer has been tested by the TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) and certified that it meets the SRV (Skid Resistance Value) for all categories of paving for local authority pedestrian areas and when heavily trafficked is suitable for special applications where risks of skidding are high as laid down in the UK Highway Authorities Tender Specification. Copies available on request.

Flammable liquid. Do not smoke. Keep application area well ventilated. Wear respirator when applying. Store in a cool place. Flash point 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup). Refer to the Health & Safety Data Sheet for further information.
Q: Would this be suitable for a outdoor counter top? I see you do the premium but what is the difference, i see premium is food safe is that all as that wouldn't have any effect i don't think.
A: It is suitable for use on a counter top but it may darken the substrate to a degree. The premium concrete is what most people use for this purpose.
Q: I have some 600x 600 concrete flags leading up to my front door approx 8 and I've seen on you U tube a firm using your product for doing block paving , black or grey, could I use this on the flags!!
A: The concreete sealer can be used to seal the patio slabs. However, if you want to colour the patio slabs in black or grey then we would suggest using Patio ColourSeal which is a pigmented sealer for concrete paving.
Q: Can I use the concrete sealer on external sandstone slabs
A: We have dedicated Natural Stone Sandstone Sealers available on our website (samples available) we would not recommend use of the concrete sealer.
Excellent concrete sealer. It was easy to apply to my new concrete fence, the first coat looked good then applied second coat and I am very happy with how my fence looks now. I would recommend. Thanks to the great advice from sale's person and great product smartseal.
This concrete sealer saved me the 2k some builders were trying to charge me to colour and reseal my drive. The first coat was odorous and I worried that maybe I should have purchased the goggles and gloves, but by the next day the second coat of sealer went on and was not too smelly. It dried with a kind of waterproof shimmer and has darkened the drive, which was jet-washed. All in all, job done for a fraction of the price.
